Another Reason Never to Complain Again

Question: Who's having a rougher time during the run-up to exams than I've ever had or am ever likely to have?

Answer: Adam Polk. He has exams next week, but right now, he's spending his days on the witness stand being cross-examined by his deranged and probably mentally ill mother, who is representing herself in her own murder trial, having been charged with stabbing Adam's father to death during an "ugly divorce" (are there any pretty divorces?).
